Many of the quest's missions clearly showed that DE knows how to do combat very well, from regular enemies to level design to boss design, and for much of the quest I was experiencing combat on par with AAA production values. If I had to insert one criticism, it's that the New War made me appreciate both Warframe's potential for being an incredibly polished game, and how far off it is from being there. I had high expectations for the New War, and to me it felt like the results were well worth the wait.

Adding to that, much of the gameplay felt excellent, and fine-tuned to make for exciting combat.

I may be in a minority here, but I experienced far fewer bugs this time than in previous new releases, and generally this update feels incredibly polished. All throughout, it felt like the quest had a good grasp of the characters it was using and our relationship to them, which let it drive some particularly emotional moments. The New War definitely feels to me like one of the best parts of Warframe, and an incredible narrative experience all around. I still wanted to see Rell though *cough*, Chains of Harrow is still my favorite quest, but 'The New War' was my Favorite story (I ALREAD TOLD YOU IT WAS NO LONGER A GAME BUT AN ADVENTURE LOL). Final verdict Story 9/10, Gameplay 10/10 (we will not argue this i already told IT WAS NOT GAME BUT AN ADVENTURE), Programming 5/10 (I do not lie and you will only experience this when you actually try to lay the game to the fullest but hopefully you will never see it as it will be patched by then you 'Baby-frames' (people who have not completed their star chart yet, and yes I can say that as much as I want and make fun of you for it because I completed my star chart in two weeks with Excalibur/Braton or Paris-Mk1/Kunai-Mk1 because I was literally too stupid to figure out you could have more than one frame and yes I literally fought Sentients with this and do not even ask me how that went because I #*!%ing suffered lol). From a programming perspective, could have bee a S#$ -ton better. Gameplay Wise 'The New War' was still hands down the best adventure I ever had in 'Warframe', and yes I said 'Adventure' because this was no longer a 'game' at this point LOL I WAS THE STORY. However I will say this: Narratively 'The New War' was the best Motherf****ng Goddam* Sh*t I have ever played in warframe. Will I ever stop, as long as something is wrong with the game and affects my every-day gaming experience every mission 'no'. #*!%ing up to this day (for both allies and enemies), the game soft-locking. Cutscenes being frozen, cutscenes stuck 'Loading', Mission Objective indicators NOT working, enemies stuck being invincible, A.I. I know many of you are thinking that I am complaining but hear this, I recorded my entire experience with 'the New War' live from farming to get the materials needed for it (I actually forgot to build a 'Necramech' LOL), to 'The New War', to AFTER 'The New War' and a lot of the same errors had happened all throughout. Second, I want every bug/error/glitch to be fixed in the game so I can play it again. What do I want as I know many of you asking: First, I want 'The New War' and I got it. I legit hoped the New War would give a new Star Chart *Tau System*, I hoped the New War would give more Nodes after it was done, most of all I hoped the New War would give Digital Extremes the time they all need to fix bugs and errors: Only time will tell.

Simply make sure you careful on ledges, like the base game. that the base game has because it is still made in Warframe with the same engine. I mean the game is still Warframe, so yes The New War still has a lot of bug/glitches/etc. To go along with the story the enemy was in line as well. I was not even concerned with getting anything at the end of each mission because the damn story was good enough.

You actually have to use the game mechanics and I never thought I would see this much fun in game as if I was spamming '3' with Ashe (That boy is fun). Even better, you have to use your environment and I never though I would see that incorporated into the game. you actually have to think in combat, no longer can you just wipe out a whole room. Speaking of the enemies they actually mean something, your no longer cutting through swaths of enemies as if it's 'Sengoku Bazara' (Yes as I have said I played a whole bunch of games unless want me to put up Fire Emblem here if your not getting the point by now). Oh my god your health bar, you no longer can sit there doing absolutely nothing as the enemies do nothing to you. Each moment in combat actually had meaning, there was no monotonous moment where you sit down doing absolutely nothing because no new enemies spawned in Defense/Survival/etc. The New War actually gave me a story, that I could be a part of instead instead of playing through a repetitious level with no new lore to offer me.
